All members were present. Minutes of the previous regular meeting were read and approved. Said publication will appear in the South Bend Tribune and The Record on the loth and 17th days of January, 1958 and bids will be received in this office on the 20th day of January, 1958 until the hour of 10:00 A.M. (CST). Applications for the Fire Department were accepted and placed on file for George Grayson, Jr. Applications for the Police Auxiliary School Patrol were accepted and placed on file for Shirley White. Applications for the Police Department were accepted and placed on file for William Steenberger. Special Police bonds were approved for Raymond David Baugh and James Snyder. Nicholas Horvath appeared before the Board and requested permission to go to Kokomo, Indiana with Roger DeClercq to see their alarm system. Permission granted. WIR Nick Horvath, Superintendent of the Electrical Department, recommends the installa- tion of the following street lights: 807 North Eddy Street Ironwood Drive and Altgeld Street 1926 East Altgeld Street Byron Drive and York Road Alpitye- Drive and York Road Byron Street and Winthrop Drive Ryron Street and Manor Drive There being no further business to come before this Board, th meeting was adjourned at 10:30 A.M. Fire Chief Andrzjwwski appeared before the Board and requested permission to attend the Fire Chief's Meeting to be held in Indiapolis, Indiana on Tuesday, January 14, 1958. Alto to take with his Battalion Chief Carl Lederer, Captain Robert Rzepka, and Lieutenent Ray Bikowski. Permission granted.
