A special meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Tuesday, December 31,
1957 at 10:30 A.M. (CST). All members were present. Minutes of the previous
meeting were read and approved. The following business was transacted at the
meeting:
Promotions and demotions of the following in the Fire Department were.approved
by the Board this 31st day of December, 1957:
Alex Batcho reduced to rank of Private
Joseph Fokey reduced to rank of Private
Steve Horvath promoted from Lieut. to Captain
Paul Muszik promoted from Lieut. to Captain
Robert Brown promoted from Private to Lieut.
Al Wcisel promoted from Private to Lieut.
Stanley Pawlowski promoted from Private to Lieut.
Anthony Gadacz promoted from Private to Lieut.
Frank Leszczynski promoted to Lieut.
In the Police Department:
T14 Richard Badics from Asst. Radio Technician unit to
T rank of Sergeant.

Also, Frances Hojnacki is hereby appointed to the Police Auxiliary School Patrol.

The abovementioned promotions, demotions, and appointments shall become effective
the 1st day of January, 1958.
There being no further business to come before the Board, the mee ing was adjourned
