Scott Street The Board hereby approves the appointment of Gerald McGinn, Stanley Przestwor, and Hilary Staszewski to the Fire Departmentof the City of South Bend, Indiana. Said applicants having passed all required written examination and also having passed necessary physical examinations by both the City Doctor and the Pension Board Doctor, their appointment shall become effective as of November 5, 1957. There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was ad- journed at 10:15 A.M. (CST). Chief Dutrieux appeared before the Board, and requested permission to send Police Sgt. Rene Devolder to attend National Conference of Mental Health in Atlantic City, New Jersey on November 18 through 219 1957. Permission granted. The Board hereby approves the appointment of Roger Cornelis to the Fire Depart- ment of the City of South Bend, Indiana.
