Smith, Chairman was absent. Minutes of the previous regular meeting were read and approved. Applications for the Police Department were examined and placed on file for John Dombrowski and Morris Green, Jr. Applications for the Auxiliary School Patrol were examined and placed on file for Lula Strong. Upon recommendations by the Chief of Police Dutrieux the following promotions in the Police Department were approved by the Board: Patrolman Edward Slaby to the rank of Sergeant Patrolman. Donald Cottrell to the rank of Corporal Nicholas Horvath, Superintendent of the Electrical Department, recommends the installation of the following 4000 lumen lights: Edison Road and Crestwood Kettering Drive and Crestwodd Street Kettering Drive and Twenty -Ninth Street Ross Street and Twenty -Ninth Street 1540 Twenty Ninth Street 1537 Crestwood Drive Intersection of S. Kentucky and Vermont Place 1100 block of East Fox Street There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was ad- journed at 10:35 A.M. P
