HomeMy WebLinkAbout09/16/57 Board of Public Works MinutesSeptember 14, 1957 A special meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Saturday at 10:00 A.M. (DST). All members were present. Appearing before the Board were Chief Dutrieux, Ass't. Chief Burkhart, and Inspector Hazinski. The matter before the Board at this time is the reslg- nation from the South Bend Police Department of a one Leonard Brooks, Jr. to become effective immediately as of this date. Board now accepts and approves resignation of said Brooks. There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned at 10:20 A.M. (DST). -� CHAIRMAN ATTEST: A HO Y J. Police Chief Dutrieux appeared before the Board and requested permission to send 4 men to attend the Eleventh Annual Indiana State Police Pistol Matches to be held on September 24, 25, 26, 1957 at Putnamville, Indiana. Permission granted. 1 1 Upon recommendation by the Electrical Department Superintendent, Nick Horvath, the Board hereby approves the installation of the following street lights: Intersection of Carroll & Tutt Streets At 121 South Twyckenham Drive At 510 North Cushing Street At 602 North Cushing Street Three (3) lights on the North half of Logan, between Jefferson & McKinley. (Mishawaka agreed to install lights on the south half of Logan). At 2618 McArthur Street There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourn- ed at 10:45 A. M. (DST).
