A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Monday, June 249 1957
at 10:00 A.M. (DST). All members were present. Minutes of the previous regular
meeting were read and approved. Claims in the total amount of $29582.62 were

The monthly feport for May, 1957 of the Police Department is hereby accepted and
placed on file.
Applications for the Fire Department were examined and placed on file for Daniel
Alfred Grayczyk.
Fire Chief Andrzjewski appeared before the Board requesting permission to send
8 men for a special training course with reference to plane crashes to Bunker
Hill. Permission granted.
Upon recommendation of the Board of trustees of the Firemen's Pension Fund by
Dr. R. W. Spenner, medical examiner, Roland W. Miller is hereby granted a monthly
disability pension of $220.32 or 55 per cent of a fully paid first class firemefts
salary and shall become effective as of July 19 1957. Board approves said retire-
ment.
