Executive Session of the South Bend Common Council
The January 23, 2017 Executive Session of the South Bend Common Council was
called to order by Council President Tim Scott at 6:10 p.m. in the Council's Informal
Meeting Room.
Persons in attendance included Council Members Tim Scott, Regina Williams -
Preston, Jo M. Broden, Dr. David Varner, Oliver Davis, John Voorde, and Randy
Kelly.
The Executive Session was called pursuant to the "Notice" dated January 19, 2017
(attached) which states in part that the meeting is being held pursuant to Indiana Code
§ 5- 14- 1.5- 6.1(b) (2) (B) for the discussion regarding "strategy in relation to pending
litigation or litigation which has been threatened in writing ".
This is to certify that only the subject matter discussed at this Executive Session was
that contained in the January 19, 2017 "Notice ".
Council President Tim Scott adjourned the Executive Session at 6:32 p.m.
