January 25, 1965
A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was'held on Monday, January
25, 1965 at 10:00 A.M. All members were present. Minutes of the last regular
meeting were read and approved. Vouchers were'approved and ordered paid
to the various suppliers.

Comes naw Richard Liszewski, Sub -Standard Department Supervision and
submits to the Board a bid for demolition for property located at 122
E. Ohio Street.
The parties of interest in this Estate have been notified of such intention
and are: Roy L. DeRoo, Irving DeRoo, Charles DeRoo, Earl Tack and Mrs. E
A. Grodon.
The following bid was received:

South Bend, Indiana
Demolish and retain salvage $280.00
Demolish and stack salvage 300.00
After due examination, the bid of Chas. Clough being the only bid received
and being in order, it is now so awarded .
TICr. Liszewski submitted an oral progress report on property owned by Mr.
F. Cook, 506 27th Street.
Mr. Liszewski advised the Board that the contractor for Mr. Cook,hired
to bring property up to standard,had stated that such repair work had
not been accomplished as ordered by the Board.
The Board therefore directed that Mr. Cook be ordered to appear before
the Board on February 1, 1965 to show cause why such repair.had not been
made.
Contractor in this instance is Mr. Hugh Wright.
SPECIAL POLICE CQWISSION
A Special Police Commission for Joseph L. Schubert, employed by keyers
Detective Agency, was approved and ordered placed on file.
APPLICATIONS POLICE DEPARTMENT
An application for the Police Department from Larry Robert Mitchell was
accepted and ordered placed on file.
POLICE DEPARTMENT: MONTHLY REPORT
A report for the month of December, 1964 from the Police Department was
accepted and ordered placed on file.
STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS
Street Light Outage Reports were accepted and ordered placed on file.
There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was
adjourned at 1100 A.M.
