A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Monday, December
28, 1964 at 10:00 A.M. All members were present. Minutes of the last regular
meeting were read and approved. No vouchers were approved for payment.
BUILDING DEPARTMENTSUB-STAND DIVISIOE "ARINGS
Comes now Richard Liszewski, Supervisor of the Sub -Standard Division of
the Building Department, and advises the Board that Mr. Peter Nemeth,
y attorney, representing Mr. Steve Nagy, owner of property located at 322
Laurel Street had contacted him and requested a continuance of one week
at which time he will have all information concerning this property.
Request granted. Hearing xe�,scheduled for January 4, 1965.
With reference to property owned by Frank and Helen Cook, located at 506
S. 27th Street, Mr. Cook appeared before the Board, as requested and
submitted a letter from Hugh Wright, contractor, setting forth repairs
that have already been made.
Mr. Cook requested a continuance in order to complete the repairs to bring
property up to Code.
After hearing Mr. Cook, the Board directed the Sub -Standard Division
Supervisor to arrange for another inspection of this property and report
findings to the Board on January 4, 1960.
Mr. Liszewski submitted a progress report with reference to the root beer
stand located at 1629 W. Linden, owned by Tti2r. Ronald Grant and which was
to be moved to another location.
Mr. Liszewski advised the Board that this stand will be moved by the owner
to a new location.
PARKING METER DEPARTMENT ( SUM4IT BUDGET )
Mr. Alvin Reeder, Superintendent of the Parking Meter Department, was
requested by the Board to submit his 1965 Budget for approval.by the
Common Council.
POLICE DEPARU ENTL MONTHLY REPORT
A report for the month of November, 1964, was submitted by the Police
Department, accepted and ordered placed on file.
APPLICATIQNS: POLICE DEPARRJENT
The following applications for the Police Department were accepted and
ordered placed on file: Edward Michael Derrough, Cloyde Francis Coffman.
APPLICATION_: POLICE AUX. SCHOOL PATROL
An application from Mrs. Marian Virginia Winenger for Police Auxiliary
School Patrol was accepted and ordered placed on file.
APPLICATION: FIRE DEPARTMENT
An application for the Fire Department from Paul Douglas Harvey was accepted
and ordered placed on file.

LIGHT
OUTAGE REPORTS
Street
Light
Outage Reports were accepted and ordered placed on file.
There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting
was adjourned at 10:30 A.M.
