The Common Council notes that it passed Ordinance No. 9449-03 on September 8, 2003 That ordinance established a 0% base salary increase for Council Members in 2004 and a 1.75% base salary increase for calendar years 2005, 2006 and 2007. ~auf, tu~~xe, Ge r,~dxr~ar~iec` by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, as follows: Section I. The members of the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, shall be paid from the General Fund the following annual salary amounts: Current Salary 2010 Salary $16,898 $16,898 Section II. this ordinance shall be published as required pursuant to Indiana Code § 5-3- 1, with the first publication taking place at least thirty (30) days before the final passage by the South Bend Common Council. Section III. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and approval by the Mayor.
