A special meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Monday,
February 24, 1964 at 9:00 A.M. All members were present. The
following business was transacted:
HEARING: CHARGE FOR VIOLATION OF REGULATIOU;14-OF THE RULES AND
REGULATIONS'OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT OF SOUTH BEND j OFFICER E. J. NAWR1
Offioer',Edward J-.- Nawrocki, a member of the 6outh Bend Police
Department, having been charged for violation of Regulation 14 of the
Rules and Regulations of the Police Department on February 18, 1964
and having been suspended from the Department on February 19, 1964
and having been served with a copy of said Charge on February 21,
1964 by Inspector Glenn Terry, now appears before the_Board-to answer
to said Charge.
The Board, having reviewed the evidence and Officer Nawrocki, having
pleaded guilty to said Charge, now finds that Offic-er Nawrocki
remain under suspension for a period of 26 days, effective from
February 19, 1964.
