A special meeting of the.Board of Public Safety was held on Wednesday,
January 1. 1964, at 10:00 A.M.
New members of the Board of Public Safety, unanimously appointed at the
meeting of the Board of Public Works are: City Attorney Robert J.;'DuComb,
Chairman, City Attorney Ray S. Andrysiak and City Controller James A.
Bickel.
APPOINTMENTS: FIRE CHIEF AND POLICE CHIEF
The appointments of Cecil McHenry as'Fire Chief and Irvin C. Hampton as
Police Chief, appointed by Mayor Lloyd M. Allen, were confirmed by the
Board.
FIRE DEPARTMENT: CHANGES IN DEPARTMENT
Before the Board now comes Cecil McHenr y, Fire Chief, with recommendations
for changes in his Department. The following changes were unanimously
approved by the Board for the betterment of the Department:

changes in his Department. The changes were unanimously approved
by the Board for the betterment of the Department.
