A regular meeting 6f the Board of Public Safety was held on Monday,
December 23, 1963 at 10:00 A.M. All members were present. Minutes
of the last regular meeting were read and approved. Vouchers were
approved and ordered paid to the various suppliers.
APPOINTMENTS: POLICE DEPARTMENT ( ST. GERMAIN, DABROS, GISH )
The following applicants to the Police Department, having passed
all mental and physical requirements for the Police Department
and having been recommended to the Board by the Chief of Police,
are hereby appointed as members of the Police Department, with
the following stipulation.
A meeting of the Police Pension Board will be held on December 24,
1963 at which time the applicants will be considered for the
Police Department. If the applicants are approved by the Pension
Board they will be appointed effective December 26, 1963.

PERMISSION TO_OVE OUTSIDE CITY: POLICE DEPARTMENT ( ALBRIGHT )
Permission was granted to Patrolman Richard Albright of the Police
Department to move out of the city limits following the recommenda-
tion of Police Chief Harman that he meets the requirements to make
such a move.
APPOINTMENTS: FIRE DEPARTMENT ( BRASSELL. PGGZTAI, SOOS )
The following applicants to the Fire Department, having passed all
requirements set down for membership in the dire Department Pension
Fund and having been recommended by the Pension Fund and the Fire
Chief are now appointed to the Fire Department effective December
23, 1963.

Dale Patrick Soos
APPLICATIONS: FIRE DEPARTMENT
The following applications fof the Fire Department were accepted and
ordered placed on file: Erwin Kuspa and Ernest Eugene Stachowski.
STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS
Street Light Outage Reports were accepted and ordered placed on file.
HEALTH DEPARTMENT REPRESENTATIVE
Stephen Molnar of the St. Joseph County Health Department was present
at the meeting as a representative of that Department.
