>ecial meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Friday,
ivvvember 15, 1963 at 10:00 A.M. All members were present. The
following business was transacted:
APPOINTMENTS: PO ICE DEPARTMENT HILL,_JANKOWSKI,1 RYAN
The following applicants, having passed the required physical
examinations and having met all other requirements of the Police
Pension Fund and having been recommended favorably to the Board by
the Pension Fund and Police Chief Harman, are hereby appointed to
the South Bend Police Department, effective November 16, 1963:
Lorenzo Hill, 514 W. Monroe St.
Gerald L. Jankowski, 713 W. Jefferson Blvd.
William A. Ryan, 511 S. Grant St.
The above appointees will be probabionary officers for a period of
nine months.
There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting
was adjourned at 10:25 A.M. iJ
