A special meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held at 9:30 A.M.
on Tuesday, September 3, 1963. All members were present. The
following business was transacted:
HEARING: CHARGE FOR VIOLATION OF REGULATIONS 5, 83_ 10.1_20AND
30 OF THE RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT" OF SOUTH
BEND FLO_YD_CHRAPLIWY _
Comes now Floyd Chrapliwy and informs the Board that his attorney is
unable to be present at the hearing and asks that the hearing be
continued so that he may be represented by counsel. Said Floyd
Chrapliwy informs the Board that his counsel is George Farage.
The Board, having heard the request and motion of said Floyd Chrapliwy,
this hearing is continued to be reset at such time as counsel of
Floyd Chrapliwy is available for hearing.
There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting
was adjourned at 9:40 A.M.
