A special meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Tuesday,
May 14, 1963 at 2:00 P.M. All members were present. The following
business was transacted:
APPOINTMENT: POLICE DEPARTMENT ( DER00
Albert Edward DeRoo= 1313 N. Fremont Street, having successfully
passed all physical requirements and all other requirements necessary
to become a member of the South Bend Police Department and having
been recommended to the Board by Police Chief Harman, the Board
hereby appoints Albert Edward DeRoo to the South Bend Police
Department. Said appointment to become effective on May 16, 1963.
There being no further business to come before the Board, the
meeting was adjourned at 2:25 P.M.
