A special meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Wednesday,
December 5, 1962 at 10:00 A.M. All members were present. Also present
were Messrs. Nicholas Horvath, Electrical Department Superintendent
and Stanley Piasecki, member of the Fire Department, assigned to the
Electrical Department.
HEARING: CHARGE FOR VIOLATION OF RULES AND REGULATIONS OF SOUTH BEND

At said meeting of the Board, the Charge heretofore filed against Stanley
Piasecki was read ,to Mr. Piasecki and he acknowledged receipt of same
and, after reading of said Charge, Mr. Piasecki acknowledged that he had
violated Article XIV9 Section 15-a'of the Rules and Regulations of the
South Bend Fire Department, all in accordance with said Charge.
On the plea that said Stanley Piasecki has violated Section XIV, Article
15-a of the.Rules and Regulations of the Fire Department, the Board
finds that said Stanley Piasecki report for work forthwith and shall
continue to work to and including the 31st day of December with no
compensation for services for the month of December, 1962. Thereafter,
he shall receive compensation beginning the lst day of January, 1963.
There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting
was adjourned at 10:30 A.M.
