Dear Council Members:
On June 23, 1980, the Common Council approved
the sale of city -owned property located at 233 Elder
Street, pursuant to Chapter 14.5 of the Municipal Code,
An appraisal of the property was made and an
offering price of $361,00 was established. The pros-
pective purchaser has offered the sum of $50,00 for
the property, indicating that he is unable to afford
the $361,00 figure but is very much interested in
purchasing the property since it adjoins his residence,
The Board of Works is desirous in placing this
property back on the tax rolls,
Your favorable action on this matter is
requested.
Sincerely,
BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS
