ZONING AND ANNEXATION SEPTEMBER 28 2009
AI "Buddy" Kirsits, Chairperson, Zoning and Annexation Committee called the meeting to order at
3:54 p.m.
Committee Members Present: David Varner, Tom LaFountain
Other Councilmember's Present: Timothy Rouse, Henry Davis, Ann Puzzello, Karen White
Other's Present: Chuck Bulot; Mike Danch, Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand, John Voorde
Agenda: Bill No. 09-61 Special Exception -1434 Garland Circle
With a quorum present Chairperson Kirsits opened the hearing on Bill No. 09-61. Chuck Bulot
was called upon to report on the actions of the BZA having held a hearing on 9-2-09. The
recommendation of the BZA was unanimously unfavorable. Bulot stated 40-50 concerned
residents opposed to the petition were at the Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) hearing.
Mike Danch, representing the petitioner, chose not to argue a case asking the bill be withdrawn.
Hearing the request Tom LaFountain moved to strike. David Varner seconded and all agreed.
There being no further business to come before the Committee at this time, Chairperson Kirsits,
adjourned the meeting at 3:58 p.m.
