This included: • Review existing information & define document criteria/format. • Coordinate and conduct work session with City Departments. • Coordinate and conduct work session with local stakeholders. • Determine overall framework for construction standards and prevailing specifications. Page 1 • Revise standards and specifications for the following categories: o Section 2 — Streets, Walkways, & Paths o Section 3 — Storm Facilities o Section 4—Sanitary o Section 5 — Water o Section 6—Traffic and Lighting o Section 7 — Erosion & Sediment Control The following sections are to be completed and provided by the City: o Section 1— General —Miscellaneous The following sections are to be completed by the City at a later date: o Section 8 — Landscaping o Section 9 — Finishes and Fixtures • Meetings were conducted with City representatives to discuss the standards and specifications to be revised. • The standards and specifications were developed based on input from the meetings with the City. Lawson -Fisher is currently working to finalize the standards and specifications and to prepare the final deliverable to the City. The deliverables for each standard/specification include: • MS Word document contain the specification section - The specifications will be in the format determined during Phase I of this project. • AutoCAD files of the standards - The title block and general format of the standards will be as determined during Phase I of this project. • The standards and specifications in Adobe Acrobat format - The Adobe acrobat file for the specification shall be searchable. Lawson -Fisher will coordinate and facilitate a stakeholder work session. The purpose of the session will be to secure comments, information and other feedback from the consultant and contractor community. Minutes will be prepared and revisions or changes made based on direction received. Change of Scope: During the development of the standards and specifications, several meetings were held with City staff to create and discuss the documents. More meetings were required to develop the documents than was originally anticipated in the in the Scope of Services. In addition, some of the specification and standard sections required more development than originally anticipated. Based on this additional effort LFA is requesting that the not to exceed budget be increased and the due date be extended. Exhibit K — Amendment to Owner -Engineer Agreement.
