The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works and Safety was called to order at
10:00 A M. wtth all members present. The minutes of the previous meeting were
reviewed and approved by the Board.
SPECIAL SPEED LIMIT SIGNS ON MUNICIEA—L SERVICE FACILITY BUILDING
Mr. Clem Hazinski, Traffic Engineer asked that the Board approve the installation
of special "Speed Limit 1011 signs on the Municipal Service Facility.Building.
The Board made the motion, duly seconded and unanimously passed the recommendation.
RESIDNATION OF HEAL LANS FRCM THE POLICE DEPARVENT
The resignation of Neal Hans of the Police Department was submitted by the Police
Chief, Mr. Hans having completed twenty years and seven months of service on the
department. The resignation, having been approved by the Chief was unanimously
passed and approved by the Board effective February 1, 1968.
APPLICATION OF ORAL E. ROSS OF LAKEVILLE FOR SPECIAL POLICE
The application of Gerald E. Ross of Lakeville, Indiana was presented to th e
C Board as a special police for the Producers Market.
U The Board asked that the application be returned to the Police Department and that
the Chief of Police give us a recommendation along with the"application, stating
that he has investigated the applicants moral character and that this appointment
be made.
APPLICATION FOR FIRE DEPARTMENT
Applications for the fire department were received from Russell August Buysse,
Richard Donald Kruszewski, John Paul Bikowskiand Jan F. Cebrat and they were filed
by the Board.
STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS
The street light outage reports for the week were fled by the Board.
