The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works and Safety was called to order
at 10:00 A. M. with all members present. The minut4s of the previous meeting
were reviewed and approved.
POLICE APPLICATIONS
Applications for the Police Department were filed by Keith Neiswonger, Robert Pate,
and William Shuler.
FIRE DEPARTMENT APPLICATIONS
'An application for the Fire Department was filed by Norman George McKillip.
POLICE DEPARTMENT ANNUAL REPORT
The annual report for 196? was ftbmittedtby the -'-Pol1c-eaD6par-tment and filed by the
Board. . i
PETITION FOR STREET LIGHT
A petition for a streetlight to be installed at the North end of George Street
was submitted by Paul J. Webb and several other residents in the vicinity and filed
by the Board. A copy was ordered sent to the Engineering Department.
REQUEST FOR STREET LIGHT
A request for a street light in the 1000 Block of So. 26th Street between Vine
and Pleasant Streets was submitted by Robert 0. Laven, 3rd District Councilman
and filed by the Board. A copy was ordered sent to the Engineering Department for
further investigation.
STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS
The street light outage reports for the week re le the Boay.4.
