HomeMy WebLinkAbout11/20/67 Board of Public Works MinutesNovember 20, 1967 The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works and Safety was held at 10.00 A. M. with members James A. Bickel and Lloyd Taylor present. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. POLICE DEPARTIViENT - REQUEST OF TRANSFER OF FUNDS Police Chief Thomas H. McNaughton, requested a transfer of funds in the amount of $200.00 from P-727, Radio Equipment, to P-726, Other Equipment. Resolution No. 16: It is hereby resolved unanimously by the Board of Public Works and Safety that $200.00 be transferred from P-727, Radio';E,qu.ipment, to P 726, Other Equipment, all being in the same general fund. A copy of this resolution was ordered given to Mr. Bickel in the Controllers office. POLICE DEPARMENT - REQUEST OF TRANSFER OF FUNDS Police Chien Thomas H. McNaughton, requested a transfer of funds in the amount of $150.00 from P-213 Traveling Expenses to P-264, Veterinarian. �. A copy of of this transfer was ordered to Mir. James A. Bickel who will prepare an ordinance for the Council. POLICE DEPARUMENT - REQUEST OF TRANSFER OF FUNDS U Police Chief Thomas H. McNaughton, requested a transfer in the amount of $50.00 from P-213, Traveling Expenses to P-262, Medical, Surgical, and Dental. A copy of this transfer was ordered to Mr. James A. Bickel, the City Controller, to -prepare a Council Resolution. SPECIAL POLICE BONDS Special Police were approved for Robert FranLlin Rtorgan of 52650 Helmen Road for Fabricated Steel Products and for llarilyn Allison of 635 E . 12th Street of iv'Lishawaka, Indiana for Robertson's Department Store. A bond has been received f or 1;aril�Al1 son. APPLICATION FI_RE DEPARTIVENT An application for the fire department iias received from John Howard Nelson of 1311 E. I,,onroe Street, South Bend, Indiana. POLICE DEPAR'1iENT - MONTHLY REPORT a -report for the month of October, 1967 was filed by the Board of Public Works from the Police Department. REQUEST FOR FUTIDS APPROYLL REVOIED A request from Thomas H. McNaughton for a transfer of funds in the Police Department Of $100.00 from P-11 Services Personal to P-264 Veterinarian and approved by.the Board on Spptember 25, 1967 was revoked by Controller James A.
