The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works and Safety was called to order at
10:00 A. M. with members James A. Bickel and Lloyd Taylor in attendance. The
minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
APPLICATIONS FOR SPECIAL POLICE
Applications for special police for the following people were signed by the Board:
Paul Donald McCormick St. Joseph Hospital
Woodrow Turner Miller St. Joseph Hospital
SPECIAL POLICEMAN'S BOND
Special policeman's bonds were approved for Tonna Lou Miller and Leslie R. Gorbics
REQUEST FOR TRANSFER OF FUNDS - FIRE DEPARTMENT
Chief Cecil McHenry of the Fire Department submitted to the Board a request for
a transfer of funds for the following:
�. From Q-11, Services -Personal to Q-43, Repair PAP $500.00
The transfer was referred to Nir. Bickel for the legal department to prepare
anC ordinance.
RETIRE11riENT OF WAYNE L. VTELCa
Police Chief P.tcNaughton having this date submitted the retirement of Wayne Welcome
from the Police Department for -the reason that he has completed twenty years of
service on the department, the same is hereby unanimously approved by the Board
by resolution and he is hereby retired effective November 16, 1967.
STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS
The street light outage reports for the week were filed by the Board.
