The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works and Safety was called toorder at
10:00 A. M. with members R. J. DuComb and James A. Bickel present. The minutes
of the previous meting were read and approved.
-APPROVAL FOR FIREMAN TO ATTEND SCHOOL
ApppDval was given for Firemen Charles S. Steel and Darrell W. Dunlap to attend
the Red Cross National Aquatic School at Camp Limberlost, LaGrange, Indiana from
June 11 to June 21.
APPLICATION - POLICE DEPARVENT
An application for the police department was filed by Billy Dee Wells of.1010
Lancaster Drive.
STREET LIGHT PETITION FILED:
A street light petition was filed by Kathryn L. Blough to install a streetlight
at Lombardy and Southview Drive. It was referred to the engineering department
for study and recommendation.
STREET LIGHT PETITION FILED
A request to change a street light from near corner of Belmont and Twyckenham
to the corner and a request to install a street light in the 1700 block of
Southwood Avenue was filed by Robert 0. Laven and was referred to the Engineering
Department for study and recommendation.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
