April 3, 1967
The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works and Safety was called to order
at 10:00 A. M. with all members present. The minutes of the previous meeting
were read and approved:
FIRE DEPARTMENT - ATTEND INSTITUTE AT INDIANAPOLIS INDIANA
Fire Chief Cecil McHenry appeared before the Board and asked for permission for the
following firemen to attend the Emergency Aid and Transportation Institute at
Indianapolis,! Indiana on April 27 and 28, 1967:
Charles Steele William Scheu
Robert DeGraff Frankk Lebiedzinski
George Gyori Lt. Daniel Plencner
George Holvoet Joseph Jelinski.
The Board approved the request.
MR CLEM HAZINSKI TRAFFIC ENGINEER
Mr. Clem Hazinski, traffic engineer, submitted the following to be approved by
the Board:
1. 2 Hour Parking 6AM to 6 PM Except Sunday signs at 1200 W. Dunham
2. One Hour Parking 6-41-6 PM Except Sunday signs at 800 Block W. Napier
3. 15 Minute Parking signs at Webb Coal Co. at 228 W. Broadway
4. One Hour Parking signs at 1611 So. Kemble
5. Two Hour Parking 6AM - 6 PM Except Sunday signs at 700 E. Sample
6. two Hour Parking 6AM - 6 PM Except Sunday signs in the 800 block Miller Ct.
7. Stop signs & Posts on the SE and NW corners of Rush and Keasey.
S. No. Parking signs & Posts in the 500 block Bendix Drive.
The Board approved same.

An application for the Fire Department was received from Charles Douglas Freeland
imd ordered filed by the Board.
STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS
The street light outage reports for the week were ordered filed.
