The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works and Safety was called to order
at 10:00 A. M. with all members present. The minutes ofthe previous meeting
were read and approved:
RE QUEST: TRANSFER OF FUNDS - POLICE DEPARTMENT
The Chief of the Police Department, Irvin C. Hampton, appeared before the Board
and asked to transfer $2,500.00 from P-722 Motor Equipment, to P-727 Radio Equipment,
for the purpose of purchasing four additional Handy Talkie Portable Radios.
The Transfer was approved by the Board.
FUND TRANSFER RESOLUTION #2 - 1967
Be it resolved by the Board of Public Works and Safety that the City Controller is
authorized to transfer $2,500.00 from P-722 Motor Equipment, to P727 Radio
Equipment.
PETITION: STREET LIGHT
A petition was received from several residents to have a street light installed
mid -way of the 300 and 400 blocks of E. Victoria Street. The petition was filed
and referred to the Engineering Department.
STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS
The street light outage reports for the week were approved and ordered filed by
the Board.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 10:30 A. M.
