The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works and Safety was held at 10:00
A. M. with all members present. The minutes of the previous meeting were read
and approved.
POLICE APPOINTMENT _PAUL MUWETZ
Chef Irvin Hampton of the South. Bend Police Departement having this date sub-
mitted to the Board of Public Works and Safety the name of Paul Krempetz for
appointment to the Police Department. And the Board of Public Works and Safety
having been duly advised on the premises, find that said applicant is'in all
ways qualified for such appointment, by unanimous ruling of the Board, duly.
ordered that Paul Krempetz is appointed as a probationary officer of the
South Bend Police Department effective November 14, 1966.
RESIGNATION: OFFICER SIMERI OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT
Officer Simeri of the South Bend Police Department having submitted to the
Board of Public Works and Safety his resignation as a Police officer of
�. South Bend and such resignation having been approved by the Police Chief
CT Irvin Hampton, same is hereby unanimously accepted by_rithe Board effective
November 15; 1966.
STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS
The Street light outage reports for the week were accepted and ordered filed
by the Board.
POLICE APPLICATION
James Edward Ward was accepted as an applicant of_the,.- South „Bend
Police Department and his application was a'rdered put on file. '
