The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works and Safety was opened at
10:00 A. M. With. W. James A. -'Bickel axid Mr. Lloyd Taylor present, Lloyd Taylor
presiding in the absence of Mr. DgComb.
REQUEST - PERMISSION TO ADVERTISE - POLICE DEPT RADIO CMWICATIONS CENTER
The Police Department has requested permission to advertise for the Radio C
Communications Center in the Central Services Building. The Ad will be placed
in the South Bend Tribube and the Tri-County News on May 27 and June 3 and bids
will be received on June 27.
REQUEST - STREET LIGHT 1100 BLOCK BETWEEN EDDY AND ARTHUR ON M NER
A request from several residents on Miner Street belonging to the Mt. Olive
M. B. Church that a street light be installed in the 1100 Block between Eddy
Street and Arthur Streets was referred to Mr. Gene Radecki for investigation
and recommendation.
PETITION - STREET LIGHT - ALLEY AT 835 S0, PULASKI STREET
A petition requesting a street light by the alley at 835 So. Pulaski Street
was filed by the Board and referred to Mr. Gene Radecki for investigation and
recommendation.
POLICE DEPARTMENT: MONTHLY REPORT
a monthly report from the police depattment was Oubmitted by Mr. Irvin Hampton
Police Chiefs and ordered filed by the Board.
STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS
The street light outage reports for the week were approved and ordered filed.
There being no further"business, the meeting was adjourned at 10:45 A. M.
