DuComb and James A. Bickel were Ares ent. Assistant City Engineer, Ray Andrysiak also attended. Minutes of the last regular meeting were read and approved. PERMISSION TO ADVERTISE - SUB -STANDARD DIVISION - DEMOLITION Richard Liszewski, Director of the Sub -Standard Division of the Building Department appeared before the Board to request permission to ddvertise for bids for demolition for the following sub -standard dwellings; Property located at 715 South Meade, owned by Wm. L. Shepherd. Permission granted to advertise for demolition. Property located at 317 No. Cushing, accessory building, owned by Victor and Bessie DeVreese, permission granted to advertise for demol ti6n. Property located at 1521 Liston St. owned by Victor and Bessie DeVreese pxxekK&xkXxWxNxa aa:� permission granted to advertise for demolition. Property located at 102 No. Adams St. formerly owned by Victor and Bessie DeVreese, purchased by Wayne Nicklas,.permission granted to advertise for demolition. Property located at 1513 and 1515 Pennsylvania Avenue, owned by Pearl Irene Darr. Mrs. Darr objected but was overruled. Permission granted to advertise for demolition. BUILDING DEPARTMENT_- SUB STANDARD DIVISION - OPENING BID FOR DEMOLITION Richard Liszewski, Sub -Standard Division Director appeared with sdaled bids for the demolition of the following properties: Property located at 1612 South Meade St., owned by Thomas R. & Flora J. Talboon of 23206 U. S. 20, South Bend, Indiana. BIAS AS FOLLOWS: Warner Wrecking Co. Elkhart, Indiana Non -Collusion Affadavit properly signed Demolition of structure, including water shut-off $ 475.00 A. & J. Demolition 318 No. O'Brien St. South Bend, Indiana Non -Collusion Affadavit properly signed Demolition of Structure, retain salvage and water shut-off $ 500.00 t 2 Demolish structure, stack on lot plus water shut-off $ 490.00 Ralph Williams Wrecking 19947 W. Lynwood So. Bend, Ind. Non -Collusion Affadavit properly signed Demolition of structure and Water Shut off $ 347.00 The Bid was awarded to Ralph Williams the lowest bidder, J Property located at 234 E. Elder, owned by Alfred Bolton, 236 E. Elder. South Bend, Indiana BIAS AS FOLLOWS: Warner Wrecking Co. Bend, Indiana Non -Collusion Affadavit properly signed Demolition of structure including water shut=off $ 425.00 The Bid was awarded to Warner Wrecking Co. at 1 P. M. �. PETITION - STREET LIGHT 00 A petition to install a street light at the corner of Prospect and Delaware, signed by several residents was presented. This was referred V to the Electrical Department for investigation and recommendation. APPLICATION - FIRE DEPARTMENT An application for the Fire Department from Stephen Sheets was acdepted and placed on file. APPLICATION_- POLICE DEPARTMENT Two applications for the Police Department, one from Michael Charles Wallace and one from James Robert McCarthy were accepted and placed on file. STREET OUTAGE REPORTS Street outage reports were accepted and placed on file. There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned at 10:50 A. M.
