HomeMy WebLinkAbout04/19/65 Board of Public Works MinutesApril 19, 1965 A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Monday, April 19, 1965 at 10:00 A.M. All members were present. Minutes of the last regular meeting and the special meeting tuere approved. Vouchers were approved and ordered paid to the various suppliers. PERMISSION TO ADVERTISE: POLICE DEPARTMENT WALK-IN TYPE VAN TRUCE Permission to advertise for a Walk-in type Van Truck was granted to the Police Department. Advertisements will be placed on April 23, April 30, 1965. Sealed bids will be received on May 10, 1965 at 10:00 A.M. SPECIAL .POLICE•- , vT SSIO RE D The Board approved a Special Police Commission for Leon L..Reuhland subject to receipt and approval of Bond. Mr. Reuhland is employed by Delaney Detective agency. APPLICATION: POLICE DEPARA ENT An application for Frank Mattei and an application for William Louis Phebus for` the Police Department were accepted and ordered placed on file. REPORT:_ POLICE DEPARTMENT A report for the month of March, 1965 from the Police Department was. accepted and ordered placed on file. BUILDING DEPARRAENT•. ATTEND CONVENTION As the designated representative to the Plan Commission from the Board of Public Works & Safety, Forrest R. West, Building Commissioner, requested permission to attend the annual convention of the American Society of Planning Officials at Toronto, Canada on April 25-29, 1965. Permission granted. It is understood that expenses will be -reimbursed from the City Plan Commission budget, Item No. 213 SUB -STANDARD DIVISION Richard Lisewski, Director of the Sub -Standard Division of the Building Department, requested permission to post property located at 633 E. Keasey Street, owned by Uillis Devine. The property is sub -standard. Permission granted. APPLICATIONS FIRE DEP_ARTIJTENT An application for the Fire Department from William Hen_yr Crittendon was accepted and ordered placed on file. STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS Street Light Outage Reports were accepted and ordered placed on file. There being no further business to come was adjourned at 10: 25 A.M. Attest: Richard J.
