A regular meeting of the Board of Public Works and Safety con-
vened at 9:35 A.M. on February 2, 1970, with Lloyd S. Taylor
and James A. Bickel, present, and S.J. Crumpacker absent due
to a court commitment.
MORRIS CIVIC AUDITORI-UM - NEW SEATS
Mr. Floyd Jessup, Manager of the Morris Civic Auditorium, gave
a report on the installation of 200 new mezzanine seats donated
by the Broadway Theater League at a cost of $7,800, but at no
cost to the City of South Bend. Mr. Jessup stated that it was
a great improvement bd� the seating area of Morris Auditorium
and he wished to express his thanks to the Broadway Theater
League.
% Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Clerk of the Board
yr was instructed to address a letter to the President of the
Broadway Theater League, Mr. Irving Hurwich, expressing
appreciation for the addition to the Morris Civic Auditorium.
Upon motion made,'seconded and carried, the meeting was recessed
until Tuesday, February-3, 1970, at 8:45 A.M., when the Board
will reconvene and conclude the hearing on Officer William
Stoynoff. The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works and
Safety will follow.
