A special meeting of the Board of Public Works and Safety convened at
7:30 P.M., i,n the Council Chambers, on June 3, 1969. Present were Lloyd S.
Taylor and S. J. Crumpacker.
Also present was John Worley, of Clyde E. Williams and Associates, consult-
ing engineers.
CONFIRMATION OF IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTIONS
This being the date set for hearing remonstrances on the following improve-
ment resolutions:
IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 3273, 1969 - FREMONT STREET, FROM
WASHINGTON TO LAWTON - being for the improvement of said street
by constructing a Class C pavement with curbs.
IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 3274, 1969 - ALLEY BETWEEN S. MICHIGAN
AND SOUTH MAIN - being for the improvement of said alley by con-
0 strutting a ClassC pavement.

IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 3275, 1969 - ALLEY BETWEEN WAYNE STREET
SOUTH AND SUNNYMEDE AVENUE - being for the improvement of said
alley by constructing a Class C pavement.
IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 3282, 1969 - WALL STREET, FROM IRONWOOD
DRIVE TO 24TH STREET - being for the improvement of said street by
constructing a Class C pavement with curb repair.
The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice to property owners in
the South Bend Tribune and the Tri County News on May 16 and May 23, 1969,
which were read and found to be proper.
After hearing all persons interested who appeared, and being fully advised
in the premises, the Board decides that the benefits to the properties
liable to be assessed for such improvements are equal to the estimated cost
of the same as reported by the City Civil Engineer.
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED by the Board of Public Works and Safety that the
above improvement resolutions, adopted by this Board on the 12th day of
May, 1969, be, and the same are, in all things confirmed and the said im-
provements hereby ordered made.
There being no further business to come before the Lard, the meeting ad-
iourned at 9:30 -?P.M-
