Special Meeting - May 11:5, 1969
A special meeting of the Board of Public Works and Safety met in the confer-
ence room at 3:00 P.M., on May 15, 1969, the meeting having been postponed
from May 2, 1969. All members were present.
Lloyd S. Taylor, President of the Board, stated the meeting had been called
for the purpose of hearing testimony in the matter of the charges filed
against Police.Officer Cullen Walton by Chief of Police Thomas H.
Mc;'Haughton for violation of Regulation 4.22 of the General Rules and Regu-
lations for the Police Department of the City of South Bend, Indiana. The
charges were read aloud to Mr. Walton and, upon hearing testimony, the mat-
ter was taken under advisement, with the decision of the Board to be
announced at the regular meeting of the Board on Monday, May 19, 1969.
There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting ad-
journed at 430 P.M.
