RJE Business Interiors $33,441.73 The Division of Engineering has reviewed all of the quotes and recommends that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive / responsible bidder, Business Interiors LLC., in the amount of $28,798.04. Note that this award includes the base bid and alternates 3 and 4. Alternates 1, 2, and 5 were not awarded. Alternate 3 is an addition to the base bid. Alternate 4 is a straight substitution to line item 7 from the base bid. The bid proposal from RJE Business Interiors had several math errors in the totaling of their pricing. Using the unit price as the governing price, RJE Business Interiors was still not the lowest bidder.
