A special meeting of the Board of Public Works and Safety convened at 7:30 P.M.
on October 27, 1970. Present were Lloyd S. Taylor, City.Engineer, and S. J.
Crumpacker, City Attorney.
Also present were John S. Worley of Clyde E. Williams and Associates, Inc., con-
sulting engineers, and approximately 20 interested residents.
HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 3330 - ALLEYS BETWEEN HUEY AND O'BRIEN
This being the date and time set for public hearing on .Improvement Resolution
No. 3330 for the improvement of the alleys between Huey and O'Brien Streets
north;;to the tee and from Huey to O'Brien, by constructing a Class C, Type 1
concrete pavement, the Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice in the
South Bend Tribune and the Tri County News on October 9 and October 16, 1970,
which were read and found to be sufficient.
Mr. Taylor explained the purpose of the meeting and Mr. Worley explained the
types of construction available and the cost of the proposed improvement.

After hearing all
persons interested who appeared,and they,
being fully advised

in the premises,
the Board decides that the benefits to the
property liable to
be assessed for said improvement are equal to the estimated
cost of the same
and, upon motion
made, seconded and carried, Resolution No.
3330, adopted
A
October 5, 1970,
was in all things confirmed and the improvement ordered made.
There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting adjourned
at 8;20 P.M.
