HomeMy WebLinkAbout06/30/70 Board of Public Works Special Meeting MinutesSpecial Meeting June 30, 1970 A special meeting of the Board of Public Works and Safety convened at 7:30 P.M. on June 30, 1970. Present were Lloyd S. Taylor and James A. Bickel. John Worley of Clyde E. Williams and Associates was also present together with approximately 35 interested property owners. This being the date set for Public Hearing, proofs of publications in the South Bend Tribune -and Tri County News on June 12, 1970 and June 19, 1970 were tendered and found to be sufficient for Resolutions Nos. 3318, 3319 and 3320. After hearing all persons interested who appeared, and they being fully advised as to the proposed improvements, the following resolutions are hereby confirmed: Resolution #3318 -- Washington Avenue from Greenlawn'to Ironwood Drive (Class C Pavement with curbs and curb repair). Resolution #3319 -- Gertrude Street from, Ewing Avenue to Prairie Avenue (Class C Pavement with curbs). . Resolution #3320 -- The alley between 25th and 26th Street from Pleasant Street south approximately 215 feet then west to 25th Street (Class C, Type I°Concrete Pavement) And'the Board decides that the benefits to the property liable to be assessed for said improvement are equal to the estimated cost of the same.
