A special meeting of the Board of Public Works and Safety convened
at 7:30 PM on June 9, 1970. Present were S. J. Crumpacker and
James A. Bickel.
John Worley of Clyde E. Williams and Assoc., Inc. was also present
together with approximately ? interested property owners.
This being the date set for Public Hearing on Improvement Resolution
No. 3316, 1970, proofs of publication in the South Bend Tribune and
Tri County News on May, 22 and May 29, 1970 were tendered and found to
be sufficient.
After hearing all persons interested who appeared and being fully
advised in the premises, the Board decides that benefits to the
property liable to be assessed for said improvement are . equal to
the estimated cost of the same and, upon motion made, seconded and
carried, said Resolution (being for the construction of a local
sewer in Beale Street from Cushing Street to Riverside.Drive) adopted
May 18, 1970, was in all things confirmed. -
There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting
adjourned.
