Special meeting May 20, 1970.
A special meeting of the Board of Public Works and Safety convened at 7:30
P.M., on May 20, 1970. Present were Lloyd S. Taylor
Also present was John Worley of .Clyde E. Williams and Associates, Inc., con-
sulting engineers. Present also were approximately 25 interested residents.
CONFIRMATION OF IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 3311, 1970
ALLEY BETWEEN HOLLYWOOD PLACE AND INGLEWOOD
For the improvement of the alley,betweeh Hollywood Place and Inglewood Place
from Woodlawn to Oakwood, by constructing a Class C, Type I concrete pavement.
This being the date set for hearing, proofs of publication in the South Bend
Tribune and the Tri County News on May 1 and May 8, 1970, were tendered by
the Clerk and found to be sufficient.
The procedure for the improvement under the five-year improvement plan was
explained by Mr. Taylor; and Mir. 'Worley explained the types of construction
and the cost of the improvement.
After hearing all persons interested who appeared and being fully advised in
the premises, the Board decides that the benefits to the property liable to
be assessed for said improvement are equal to the estimated cost of the same
and, upon motion made, seconded and carried, said Resolution adopted April 27,
1970, was in all things confirmed.and the improvement ordered made.
There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting adjourned
at 8:45 P.M.
