Special Meeting - April 21, 1970.
A special meeting was called at 4:20 P.M., April 21, 1970, for the purpose of
receiving bids for completion of the demolition of 751 S. Michigan Street as
an emergency matter.
A sealed bid of $4,200.00 was submitted by Bill Torok Trucking Service, 54195
N. Burdette Street, South Bend, Indiana, "for demolition of the south wall,
hauling remainder of debris, removal of slab,and hauling to dump.'
A sealed bid of $1,975.00 was submitted by Ritschard Brothers, Inc., 1204 W.
Sample Street, South Bend, Indiana,"for the removal of the remaining portion
of the south and east walls, clean up debris and remove concrete floor."
Contract for completion of the demolition of the structure at 951 S. Michigan
Street was awarded to Ritschard Brothers, Inc., on their low bid of $1,975.00.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 4:35 P.M.
