Special Meeting - December 2, 1971
A special meeting of the Board of Public Works and Safety convened at
3:15 P.M. with all members present.
The meeting was called for the purpose of accepting petitions from the
Department of Redevelopment for the vacation of the following:
1. Lincolnway East from a point 55 feet south of the south
line of Jefferson Boulevard to the east line of St.
Joseph Street;
2. East Jefferson Boulevard from St. Joseph Street east to the
curve on the new Jefferson -Wayne connector.
3. East Washington Street from St. Joseph Street east to
Artesian Avenue.
4. Artesian Avenue from East Washington Street south to
the street end.
Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the petitions were
referred to the Engineering Department and the Area Plan Commission,
simultaneously, for study and recommendation to the Board.
There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting ad-
journed at 3:25 P.M.
