2007 South Bend Common Council
The April 23, 2007 meeting of the Zoning and Annexation Committee of the South Bend
Common Council was cakled to order by its Chairperson, Council Member AI "Buddy"
Kirsits at 4:14 p.m, in the Council's Informal Meeting Room.
Persons in attendance included Council Members Kelly, Pfeifer, Kirsits, Varner, White,
Dieter, Kuspa and Puzzello; Police Chief Thomas Fautz, Building Commissioner Don
Fozo, Martha Lewis, Mrs. Kopola, Jamie Loo of the Soufh Bend Tribune and Kathleen
Cekanski-Farrand, Council Attorney.
Council Member Kirsits noted that the committee members include Council Members
Kuspa, Pfeifer, Varner and himself.
Council Member Kirsits welcomed back Council Member Kuspa.
Bill No. 3~4-05 Rezoning Request of Tiberius Mahalache far the 3~4AA Block of
Northside Boulevard:
Council Member Kirsits noted that the Council has received a request from the
petitioner to continue Bill No. 34-05 to June 26, 20D7. Ne noted that this Bill has been
pending before the Council since 2005.
Council Member Pfeifer made a motion, seconded by Council Member Kuspa that Bill
No. 34-05 be recommended to be continued until June 26, 2007, at the request of the
Petitioner. The motion passed.
There being no further business to come before the Committee, Council Member Kirsits
adjourned the Committee meeting at 4:16 p.m.
