REPORT ON REQUEST FOR MOBILE HOME AT 1945 E. INWOOD.ROAD
The Board received the following letter:
March 20, 1973
To: Board of Public Works
From: Bureau of Buildings and Permits
Subject: 1945 E. Inwood Road, South Bend, Indiana
As requested, an investigation has been made concerning a
request for a permit to establish a mobile home on the above
captioned,property.
Such investigation reveals that a fire occurred at the
subject property about a month ago. It has taken this long
to resolve the damage settlement. The Bartells, who have a
family of six children, have been living in a motel (with
r-1 three children with relatives) at great inconvenience. They
C are desirous of using a leased mobile home until repairs are
completed, a period not to exceed six months. The lot is
Q quite large and there will be no adverse conditions to affect
U
U neighbors. The temporary home will be served by the utilities
to the residence.
Accordingly, it is the recommendation of this Bureau that
a permit be issued for a mobile home for not more than a six
month period.
Respectfully submitted,
s/ Forrest R. West
Building Commissioner
Upon motion made, seconded and carrie.J, the Board approved the request
