A special meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at
8:30 a.m, on Thursday, May 22, 1975 with all members present.
The purpose of the special meeting was to consider the Purchase
Agreement with the Lincoln National Life Insurance Company for
the purchase by the City of South Bend of the building at 622
North Michigan Street for a total purchase price of $131,000.00.
The property is to be leased to REAL Services. Copies of the
agreement were filed with,the Board on May 19, 1975 by Deputy
City Attorney Robert Parker, while final negotiations were completed
on the purchase.
Mr. Parker advised the Board that the Purchase Agreement was now
ready for signature.
Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the
Purchase Agreement with the Lincoln National Life Insurance ICompany
for the purchase of the property at 622 North Michigan Street for
a total price of $131,000.00.
There being no further business to be brought before the Special
Meeting, upon motion made, seconded and carried, the meeting
adjo-rned at 8:35 a.m.
