SPECIAL MEETING
APRIL 10, 1975
A special meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at
3:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 10, 1975 with all members present.
James A. Roemer, City Attorney, recommended to the Board
that license fees be waived for the ethnic groups participating
in the Bicentennial Festival '75. This would be a limited
exception only for the three days of the Festival in order to
further the Bicentennial effort and in the best interests of
the citizens of South Bend. Upon motion made, seconded and
carried, the Board waived the licensing requirements for
participants in. the Ethnic Festival to be held on River Bend
Plaza on July 4, 5 and 6, 1975.
The special meeting adjourned at 3:35 p.m.
