SPECIAL MEETING JUNE 19,.1974 A special meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at 10:50 a.m. on Wednesday, June 19, 1974 with Mr. Barcome and Mr. Seitz present. SIGNING OF TITLE SHEET AND REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS - NORTHWEST SEWER PROJECT The title sheet approving plans for the Northwest Sewer Project was presented to the Board. The project was authorized under Improvement Resolution No. 3402, 1974. It was moved by Mr. Barcome, seconded by Mr. Seitz and carried, that the title sheet approving the plans be approved. A request was received from the Department of Public Works that bids be advertised for the project, with bids to be received on Monday, July 1, 1974. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the request was approved and the Clerk was directed to advertise for bids on June 21 and 28 with bids to be opened at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, July 1, 1974. SIGNING OF TITLE SHEET AND REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS - EDISON ROAD-ELWOOD AVENUE TRUNK SEWER The title sheet approving plans for the Edison Road -Elwood Avenue Trunk Sewer was presented to the Board. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the title sheet approving the plans was approved. A request was received from the Department of Public Works that bids be advertised for the project, with bids.to be received on Monday, July 1, 1974. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the request was approved and the Clerk was directed to advertise for bids on June 21 and 28 with bids to be opened at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, July 1, 1974. REQUEST FOR BIDS FOR FIRE STATION NO. 4 The Board received a request from Rollin E. Farrand, Director of Public Works, that bids be advertised for the new Fire Station No. 4 at 220 North Olive Street. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the request and directed the Clerk to advertise for bids on June 21 and 28 with bids to be opened at 9:30 a.m, on Monday, July 15, 1974. REQUEST FOR BIDS FOR VANS FOR ANIMAL CONTROL PROJECT G. Patrick Gallagher, Director of Public Safety, requested that the Board advertise for bids for three vans for the animal control project. Specifications for the vans were attached to the request. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the request and the Clerk was directed to advertise for bids on June 21 and 28 with bids to be received at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, July 1, 1974.
