A Special Meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at
3:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 30, 1974 with Mr. Farrand and Mr.. Barcome
present.
The purpose of the special meeting was to consider a request to
hold a Fashion Show on the River Bend Plaza in front of Robertson's
Department Store on Saturday, June 1 at 11:00 a.m. Mr. Louis
Wilcox, Director of the River Bend Plaza, indicated that he had
scheduled the Fashion Show with the cooperation of several of the
downtown merchants. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the
Board approved the request to hold the Fashion Show on the Plaza
at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 1, 1974.
Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the special meeting adjourned
at 3:35 p.m.
