FEBRUARY 26, 1974
A special meeting of the Board of Public Works convened at 7a;30 p.m. on Tuesday,
February 26, 1974 in the Board of Works Hearing Room with Mr. Farrand and
Mr. Seitz present. Mr. David A. Wells and Mr. William Dillon were also present.
The purpose of the special meeting was to explain Barrett Law procedures and
the preliminary assessments for the installation of water mains on South Main
Street, from Chippewa Avenue to Ireland Road, authorized under Improvement
Resolution No. 3393, 1974 adopted on February 4, 1974. The Assessment Roll
showing amounts assessed against each property owner were available for
inspection, as were plans for the project.
There were no remonstrators present. Mr. Farrand announced that the Board would
receive written remonstrances until 9:30 a.m. on Monday, March 18, 1994 in the
Board of Works Office. At the regular meeting of the Board held on that date,
the Board will take action to confirm or rescind the Improvement Resolution.
Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the meeting adjourned at 7:50 p.m.
