A special meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at 8:07 a.m. on
Thursday, January 17, 1974, with all members present. City Attorney James
A. Roemer was also present.
AMENDMENT TO VACATION SCHEDULE - BUREAU OF POLICE
In order to bring Bureau of Police Vacation benefits in line with those of
the Teamsters and the Bureau of Fire and to keep on the force those veterans
with years of experience, it was moved, seconded and carried, that the
Bureau of Police Vacation Schedule be amended as follows:
10 to 20 years of service - Vacation Increased from 21-to 23 days
20 years or more of service - Vacation Increased from 23 to 29 days
Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the special meeting adjourned at
8:12 a.m.
