OCTOBER 8. 1976
A special meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at
8:30 a.m..on Friday, October 8, 1976 by Rollin E. Farrand,
President, with Mr. Farrand and Mr. Mullen present.
The Board received a request from the Mayor's Downtown Development
Committee to seek additional signatures for the Sears petition
on River Bend Plaza during the noon hour on Friday, October 8.
The Board determined that this was not inconsistent with Board
action in previous requests and that the project was, indeed,
a South Bend civically. oriented project., -'.Upon motion made by
Mr. Mullen,.seconded by Mr. Farrand and carried, the request was
approved.
The special meeting was adjourned at 8:35 a.m.
